These Terms & Conditions apply when you use the Story Found website or purchase from us.
Story Found is operated by Adriana Weare trading as Story Found, ABN 62532651201, based in Victoria, Australia.
By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Products
Story Found sells primarily preloved children’s clothing, along with occasional unworn and new with tags pieces.
Most items are one of a kind and available in one size only.
We take care to describe each item accurately, including its condition and any known marks, fading, wear, alterations or repairs. Where an imperfection or repair is clearly disclosed in the product description or photographs, it forms part of the stated condition of that item.
Some pieces may have been carefully repaired or mended by Story Found before being offered for sale. Any known repairs will be disclosed in the individual product listing.
Sizing
Children’s sizing can vary between brands, countries and eras.
Please review the label size and Size & Fit information provided in the individual product listing before purchasing.
Product photography
We take care to represent each garment, including its colour and condition, as accurately as possible.
Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen, device settings and lighting conditions.
Pricing
All prices displayed on the Story Found website are in Australian dollars (AUD).
Story Found is not currently registered for GST and GST is not added to our prices.
Prices may change from time to time. Any change will not affect an order that has already been accepted, except where there has been an obvious pricing or website error.
Payment
Payment must be made in full at checkout.
Available payment methods may include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. The payment methods currently available will be displayed at checkout.
Story Found does not currently offer buy now, pay later services.
One of a kind pieces
Most Story Found pieces are one of a kind.
Adding an item to your cart does not reserve it. An item is only secured once checkout has been successfully completed.
Although we take care to keep our inventory accurate, occasionally an item may become unavailable due to an inventory error or simultaneous orders.
If this happens, we may cancel the affected item or order and refund any amount you have paid for it.
Orders
Submitting an order does not automatically guarantee that it will be accepted.
Story Found may decline or cancel an order in limited circumstances, including where:
- an item is unexpectedly unavailable
- there has been an obvious pricing or website error
- payment cannot be successfully processed
- we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity
- another circumstance prevents us from fulfilling the order
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, the relevant amount will be refunded.
Changing or cancelling an order
If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact hello@storyfound.com.au as soon as possible.
We’ll do our best to help if the order has not yet been dispatched, but changes and cancellations cannot be guaranteed.
Once an order has been dispatched, our Returns & Exchanges Policy applies.
Promotions and discount codes
Story Found may occasionally offer promotional codes, sales or other special offers.
Additional conditions, including eligibility, minimum spend, exclusions or expiry dates, may apply to individual promotions and will be communicated with the offer.
Promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be applied retrospectively to an order unless otherwise stated.
Shipping
Story Found currently ships within Australia.
Shipping rates, processing times, delivery information and other shipping conditions are set out in our separate Shipping Policy.
Please ensure that the delivery details supplied at checkout are complete and accurate.
Returns & Exchanges
Our change of mind, fit, sale item and return conditions are set out in our Returns & Exchanges Policy.
Sale items cannot be returned for change of mind or incorrect fit.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions or our Returns & Exchanges Policy excludes or limits any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
If an item does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law.
The nature of an item, including that it is preloved, together with its age, condition and any imperfections clearly disclosed before purchase, may be relevant when assessing its condition and whether it meets applicable consumer guarantees.
Customer accounts
You may have the option to create a Story Found customer account or complete your purchase using guest checkout.
You are responsible for keeping your account information and login details secure and for ensuring that information provided to Story Found is accurate and current.

Age
To place an order with Story Found, you must be at least 18 years old or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
Website use
You agree not to use the Story Found website:
- for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
- in a way that may interfere with or damage the website
- to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems
- to copy, reproduce or commercially exploit Story Found content without permission
- in any other way that infringes the rights of Story Found or another person
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the original content on the Story Found website, including our photography, written copy, product descriptions, graphics, logo, branding and other original material, is owned by or licensed to Story Found.
This content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified or used commercially without prior written permission from Story Found.

Third party services and links
Our website may contain links to, or use services provided by, third parties such as payment providers, Australia Post, Shopify and social media platforms.
Those third party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

We take reasonable care to keep the Story Found website accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee that access will always be uninterrupted or free from errors.
We may update, change, suspend or remove parts of the website where necessary.

Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to Story Found, our website or applicable requirements.
The current version will be published on this page with the date it was last updated.
Changes will apply from the date the updated Terms are published and will not retrospectively alter an order already accepted unless required by law.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, together with applicable Commonwealth laws.
